Nathaniel began his official career in public accounting in 2003, although growing up with a CPA for a father, he started working during tax season at a fairly young age. Starting out on the administrative side, and then transitioning over to tax preparation, he has always enjoyed working with clients and helping them reach their goals.

In 2006, Nathaniel became a partner at Holden and Company CPAs, where he and his father worked together to grow a successful CPA firm. After the financial crisis of 2008 and seeing many of his accounting client’s retirement accounts lose a significant amount of value, it became clear that there was a need for an investment strategy that could provide additional downside market protection. With the help of Michael Hall, he found that strategy, and became a partner at Holden Hall Wealth Management.

Nathaniel has a broad base of accounting knowledge, working with large businesses, investment partnerships, small businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates. His accounting experience, paired with his financial management experience, allows him to provide a unique perspective when addressing clients’ needs and achieving their goals. Nathaniel is a co-founder of Core Wealth Partners and is leading the tax consulting and planning effort of the firm.

Nathaniel has served on the board of stewardship and security team at his churches. He has also volunteered as team treasurer for his son’s youth hockey team. In his free time he likes camping, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the great outdoors.
